A denture replaces teeth you no longer have, either a full arch or a partial that fills in around the teeth still doing their job. Fit is everything: a well-made denture lets you eat and speak without thinking about it, and a poor one has you avoiding half the menu and reaching for adhesive. We take the time to get the fit and the bite right, and we adjust until it is comfortable rather than telling you to get used to it.
Mouths change shape over the years, so a denture that fit beautifully at first will eventually loosen. That is normal and it is usually fixable with a reline rather than a replacement. If yours slips no matter what you do, implants can anchor it so it snaps firmly into place and stays there all day.

We capture the shape of your mouth and work through the fit, the bite and the appearance before anything is finished.

Wear it in, and adjust
New dentures always need a little settling. Come back and we will adjust the sore spots until it is genuinely comfortable.

Usually. Jaw bone changes shape after teeth are lost, so a denture that once fit becomes loose. A reline often solves it. If the problem is that there is not much ridge left to hold on to, implants are the reliable answer.
Dentures or implants?
Dentures cost less up front and can be made for almost anyone. Implants cost more and feel far closer to natural teeth, because they are anchored in bone rather than resting on gum. There is also a middle path, an implant-supported denture. We will lay out all three honestly with the numbers.
Will people be able to tell?
A well-made denture is designed to look like your teeth, not like a display set. Shade, shape and how much shows when you smile are all choices we make with you before anything is finished.
